The culmination of two years of song writing and too many hours in a cramped sweaty studio, House of His Smile is the debut EP from middle-class gangster young blood New Skin.
The lyrics of the title track of the EP discuss domestic abuse, a dark theme for such a youthful band, so for the cover this conflict was abstracted using bright primary colours and children's toys, set on an undefinable but clearly unwelcoming terrain.
